The Agricultural & Extension Education department at New Mexico State University announces an opening for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Agricultural & Extension Education. The Department seeks a candidate who will establish a nationally recognized program in agricultural and Extension Education. The focus area for this position will be the pre-service training of agricultural teachers and extension agents.
Responsibilities include: developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (including distance delivered courses where applicable); advising undergraduate and graduate students; student organization advising; supervising student interns; serving on departmental, college, and university committees; conducting a focused research and scholarly activity program of national scope; securing extramural funding in support of a research and scholarly activity program.
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in agricultural education or closely related discipline is required.
