Conducts a requisite number of classes; Teaches assigned subjectProvides guidance and supervision to studentsCreates and maintains an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, learning and researchPreparation and formulation of curricula focused on his/her subject(s)Participates in departmental meetings and holds scheduled office hoursMaintains equipment in the laboratory, makes arrangements for laboratory practical sessions, and provides materials to studentsProvides academic support to other faculty membersServes on departmental and University committees, as assignedDemonstrates grantsmanship and the ability to publish peer review journals |
