Incumbent will be responsible for building coalitions and partnerships with community youth-related groups, agencies and other organizations. This position serves as a team member with county, regional and state leaders.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
The Educator, 4H/ Community Resource Development (CRD) is expected to identify and establish working relationships with relevant local organizations and agencies to deliver educational programs, events and activities pertaining to 4-H and CRD in a designated geographic region of the state. Individual responsibilities include helping people find information and services, bringing people together within the group and help create a sense of community among group members. The individual is also expected to identify and establish working relationships with relevant local organizations and agencies to deliver educational programs, events and activities pertaining to 4-H and CRD in Adams, Claiborne and Jefferson Counties.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness, Economics, Business Administration or other closely related disciplines. Master’s Degree in related field is preferred.
Two years of experience working effectively with youths and Community Resource Development.
