The primary responsibility of the Program Associate will be to support the state coordinator in various aspects of integrating Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) into ASU’s state outreach program. He/she is to enhance awareness and encourage the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices among limited-resource farmers across a multi-county region in south and northwest Mississippi.
Qualifications
- M. S. in Plant Science/ Horticulture/Agronomy, or a closely related field
- 1 year experience in Sustainable Agriculture practices.
- 1 Yr. Experience in outreach and extension activities.
- 1 year experience in applied field research.
