Expertise: Plant improvement with the focus on developing better breeding strategies in response to abiotic (climate change) and biotic constraints in the context of food security and nutrition.

Currently she is involved in projects on genetic and cultural studies of juniper, sweetpotatoes, potatoes and industrial hemp varieties in New Zealand.
