Expertise: Dr. Marques's research efforts focus on nutritional and management strategies to improve productivity and profitability of beef cattle operations, including the impacts of prenatal and postnatal nutrition strategies on performance, health, and reproductive responses in beef cattle. In particular, Dr. Marques's main research interests lie in maternal nutrition of beef cattle and its impacts on offspring performance and immune parameters and nutritional and management strategies that will enhance immunity and growth of recently weaned calves.
