Expertise: Mendu lab research involves identification and functional characterization of genes involved in plant development, biotic and abiotic stress responses. Research involves both fundamental discoveries for advancing science as well as application for crop trait improvement. Mendu lab uses genomic, genetic, bioinformatic, molecular, physiological and biochemical technologies for gene discovery and functional characterization.
