Expertise: I am interested in the role of microRNAs in various biological processes. My current interest is to discover expression of rice miRNAs which are responsive to biotic and abiotic stresses. We also interest in identification and characterisation of brown-plant hopper resistance genes in wild rice. Recently, we launch a new project on improvement of resistance to bacterial leaf blight by marker-assisted selection in cultivated Thai rice
